MTV's Headbanger's Ball

MTV's popular metal show Headbanger's Ball has returned, now on Saturday night on MTV2 at 10PM. After several petitions posted on several forums and popular metal websites, MTV decided to bring back the show after an 8 year hiatus.

Featuring artists such as Superjoint Ritual, Black Label Society, The Datsuns, and Suicidal Tendencies, I was glad to see that the focus was on the heavieness, and not the glam rock that tainted many of the early shows.

Don't get me wrong, I like all kinds of music, but sometimes I just want to hear some fucking METAL!! ...and I wasn't dissapointed.

Let's hope it's here to stay.
