Her distinctive piercings make her quite the pincushion pinup! ILD: How and when did you start modeling? Vanity Flair: I started modeling when I was 15. I met up with my first photographer at a nudist club which my friend's dad owned, and that's where we did the shoot. It was outside, and there were lots of mosquitoes, and I had to hold perfectly still while they bit me. It was a bit rough for my first shoot, but I feel that the challenge helped me to develop as a model. ILD: I read online that you're the new character model for a new Sony Playstation game called Primal? How did that come about? Vanity Flair: I was in Walmart looking for a present for my boyfriend and this lady stopped me to ask if I was a model. She explained that she worked for Sony/Playstation, and that I looked just like a character from their new game "Primal." She gave me her card and said I should leave my information on her voicemail. I did, and she got back to me and asked me to do a special appearance at a local Best Buy dressed as the character. I stood by a display for the game, signed autographs, and passed out promotional prizes. It was really fun, and a very interesting experience. ILD: You mentioned that you'll have a new website soon. Will it be a mostly a vanity site (scuse the pun...) or will it be some sort of pay site? Vanity Flair: My website has been in the works for a very long time now. I'm not sure when it will be opening. I just got promoted at my job, and my hours are all crazy, so I won't be able to attend school for web design for awhile. When I do find someone to help me get it together I'd like it to be mostly a vanity site, but charge a small membership fee for any nude content. I'm actually trying to get away from doing as much topless, so the material I do offer I'd like to get paid for. ILD: There seems to be an upsurge in popularity for alternative models these days, especially with the launch of websites such as www.Suicidegirls.com. Do you find that you are getting work just because you have lot's of piercings and tattoos? Vanity Flair: I have found that is depends on the photographer. I have problems finding work sometimes due to my appearance. At the same time my alternative look has helped me to intrigue others, and has been a huge selling point. ILD: Favorite Band or type of music? Vanity Flair: Mostly Industrial and Hard Rock like Funker Vogt, Suicide Commando, and Machine Head. I also listen to a lot of 80's hair bands like Skid Row, and Motley Crue. ILD: Drink of choice? Vanity Flair: Root Beer or Dr.Pepper. ILD: Dog person or cat person? Vanity Flair: Definitely a cat person. I have a small calico cat named Poppy, and I love her dearly. ILD: Astrological sign? Vanity Flair: Leo ILD: Turn ons? ILD: What does the future hold for Vanity Flair? Vanity Flair: I'm going to continue modeling, and try to expand that more. IÕd like to get into more projects that require a bit of acting and have more creative themes. I'd love to even get a chance to be a part of a low budget film. . I'd also like to get into dancing preferably Go-Go / Burlesque, and maybe even be part of a show. ILD: Sorry, I have to ask.
